HUNTINGTON HILLS RECREATION CLUB LIGHTNING SAFETY RULES : Members of HHRC: Lightning is one of the most dangerous natural events at the club. PLAN in advance your evacuation and safety measures. When you first see lightning or hear thunder, activate your emergency plan. Now is the time to go to a building or a vehicle. Lightning often precedes rain, so don't wait for the rain to begin before suspending activities. Lightning Safety Program for the Club At the first signs of lightning or thunder, the pool will be evacuated. ("If you can hear it (thunder), Clear It (suspend activities)." They will remain cleared for 30 minutes after the last observed lightning or thunder. Patrons should leave the pool and the surrounding area. Seek shelter inside the main building, or in a fully enclosed metal vehicle with the windows up. AVOID waiting under tall trees, umbrellas, or near electric power lines. HHRC HOURLY SWIM BREAK RULES:HHRC cycles the swim time schedule every hour. The schedule runs as listed below. 12:00 to 12:45 Normal Swim Time 12:45 to 1:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 1:00 to 1:45 Normal Swim Time 1:45 to 2:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 2:00 to 2:45 Normal Swim Time 2:45 to 3:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 3:00 to 3:45 Normal Swim Time 3:45 to 4:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 4:00 to 4:45 Normal Swim Time 4:45 to 5:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 5:00 to 5:45 Normal Swim Time 5:45 to 6:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 6:00 to 6:45 Normal Swim Time 6:45 to 7:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 7:00 to 7:45 Normal Swim Time 7:45 to 8:00 Rest Period for Children, Adult Swim Period 8:00 Pool Closes During Rest Period:
